The department of ENT, Head & Neck surgery at ASRAM Medical College & Hospital, is
a recorgnised Postgraduate and Undergraduate teaching department and a major surgical branch
treating patients comming for various diseases of Ear, Nose, Throat, and Head & Neck surgery
also for cancers of Throat, Larynx ( Voice box) etc. The department is run by well qualified and
experienced teaching faculty rendering high quality teaching and clinical services in the out
patient, in patient and emergency services as well. The quality services renderd by the staff of the
ENT department is meeting well the expectations of the people attending in large numbers to ASRAM.
The Department perform all major and minor sugical operations in ENT, Head & Neck surgery
and emergency services daily.
The postgraduate training to four M.S (ENT) degree yearly. is planned as per the Dr.NTRUHS
guidelines and also MCI, New Delhi norms. The results at U.G. & P.G. Strongly support the
systematic training in the studies with personnel attention.
The department regularly conducts clinical meetings and surgical workshops, in order to
update the clinical knowledge and surgical experience, Zonal CME’s also regularly conducted as
per the unversity Guidelines.
The department is involved actively in the research and its publications in the feild of
Ear, Nose, Throat and Head& Neck Surgery it has to credit 24 – publications, 10- Paper
presentations, 24 – Conferences and CME’s ( International, Regional, Zonal) being attended.
The department is recorgnised for the Medical services under Dr. NTR vaidya Seva, EHS
and other insurance agences.
