Library
ASRAM Medical College Library was spread in an area of 4000 square Mts in Four floors. The library has collection of 19,017 books. Sufficient number of Journals in various disciplines is available ie 75 Indian Journals and 46 Foreign Journals are accommodated in journal section of Central Library. In addition to the Central Library 600 online Journals has access to Dr.N.T.R UHS E-Journals (NTRMEDNET) Programme from which all the journals of choice can be accessed. The Central Library has sufficient copies of relevant books to the section libraries.
The Library is fully Air-conditioned. The library also has Internet facilities with 58 Computers, CDs and Cassettes. It has Xerox facilities for staff and students. The library works throughout the year including Sundays and Public Holidays. On working days the library works round the clock. On Public holidays and Sundays Library works from 09.00 AM to 1.00 A.M (Midnight).
The Library consists of different sections. Text book section, Reference section, Journal section Back volumes section and E-Library. Back volumes of all the journals in periodic lots are bound into single individual volumes.
Library provides services to Doctors of College and Hospital, students and non-teaching staff. The Library provides separate reading facilities to Staff, Residents, PGs as well as Undergraduate girls and boys.
Auditorium :
The Medical College is having a very good auditorium with 1000 seating capacity.
Sports facilities :
The campus is having a number of Play Grounds. A tennis court, Basket ball court, Cricket stadium, Foot ball court are available in the campus. Indoor games and indoor gyms are also present. A modern swimming pool is also under construction.
Hostels :
The Male students and female students are having separate Hostels with attached kitchens and Dining Halls. There is a separate Air conditioned Hostel to accommodate NRI students. All the Hostels are having 24 hours water supply and Electricity. The food prepared in the kitchens is wholesome and tasty. A wide range of cuisine is available.
Cafeteria :
A modern 24 hours cafeteria is available in the campus near the Hospital building. A wide variety of snacks and refreshments are available in the canteen.
Generators :
The Male students and female students are having separate Hostels with attached kitchens and Dining Halls. There is a separate Air conditioned Hostel to accommodate NRI students. All the Hostels are having 24 hours water supply and Electricity. The food prepared in the kitchens is wholesome and tasty. A wide range of cuisine is available.
Campus Security :
More than 300 cameras are installed in the campus and they are connected to central CCTVs to monitor all the areas of the Medical college and Hospital. A number of security personnel were employed to offer round the clock security in the campus.
Bio Medical Department :
The College is having a separate Bio Medical Department with qualified Engineers to repair all electronic equipment promptly.
Staff Quarters :
A number of staff quarters are available in the campus to accommodate the teaching and non teaching staff. All the staff nurses were provided accommodation in the campus and they have to necessarily stay in the campus.
Bank & ATM Facilities :
The Andhra Bank is available in the campus and also Andhra Bank & Punjab National Bank ATM Counters in the premises of the campus. Besides, there are facilities for postal and courier services.
