The department of pathology at ASRAM Medical College & Hospital is a recognized Postgraduate and Undergraduate teaching department. The department is run by well qualified and experienced teaching faculty rendering high quality teaching and clinical investigation reports in the outpatient, inpatient and emergency services as well. The quality of services rendered by the staff of the pathology department is meeting well with the needs of the people attending in large numbers. The Department renders high quality reports of all clinical investigations and histopathological specimens.

The department gives high quality professional teaching to both Postgraduates and undergraduates. The results of the high quality teaching resulted in achieving first rank in Dr. NTRUHS Examinations in 2015. With several distinctions and first Classes in the Subject of Pathology.

The postgraduate training is to three M.D (pathology) degrees yearly. Is planned as per the Dr.NTRUHS guidelines and also MCI, New Delhi norms. Both postgraduates and undergraduates are adequately trained in theoretical knowledge and practical experience. The results at U.G. & P.G. Strongly supports the systematic training in the studies with personnel.

The department regularly conducts clinical meetings like CROP, CAP, CPC’s with other clinical departments with Integrated teaching programmers in order to update the clinical knowledge and diagnostic experience, Topic Seminars, Slide seminars & journal clubs are conducted to the PG students regularly in the department. Zonal CME’s also regularly conducted as per the university Guidelines.

The department is involved in the research and publications in specified branch and achieved NABL accreditation in 2017.
