Mission
- To provide a strong foundation for new entrants by teaching basic sciences.
- To train PG & students for highest educational standards.
- To inculcate Research attitude in UG, PG, students and faculty members which could be of service to humanity.
- The Department of Anatomy was instituted during the academic year 1999 – 2000 (the first batch of MBBS was admitted in December 2000). The department by and large, meets the requirements stipulated by the Medical Council of India (from time to time), with adequate infrastructure and teaching and nonteaching staff.
- Several students topped in Anatomy over the years.
- Good collection and excellent preservation of cadavers and sundries
- The department has been a regular venue for the prestigious ‘live’ workshops of the Neurosurgery and ENT departments.
- Scientific papers published by the deptl. staff in indexed journals so far: 13
